Opening Keynote

Abstract
Towards a 21st Century African Renaissance: Sowing the seeds of success. The conference, in recognition of Africa's emerging outlook as a promising hub for growth, will include diverse speakers like Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Emmanuel Nnadozie, Director of Economic Development and NEPAD for the United Nations Commission for Africa, and Kamal Bhattachyara, Director of IBM Research Africa. The continent, experiencing unprecedented economic growth still needs to make the necessary investment in governance, science, technology, healthcare and infrastructure, among others, themes to be explored in this year's edition. Our keynote speakers will include Dr. Guy Scott, the Vice President of Zambia, King Letsie III of Lesotho and Euvin Naidoo.
