Bohan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a double major in Chemistry and Economics. At Penn, she worked as a physical chemistry research assistant, served as CEO of the UPenn Student Federal Credit Union and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Post-graduation, Bohan spent 4 years as a management consultant in Oliver Wyman’s Health and Life Sciences practice. While at Oliver Wyman, she advised both payers and providers with a focus on growth strategy, organizational transformation and total cost of care reduction. Through her project experience, she found her niche working in the Medicare, Medicaid and D-SNP spaces. As such, her research interests lie in how consolidation and government intervention in the healthcare market impact vulnerable populations. She is particularly interested in vertically integrated health systems, private equity-led provider consolidation and variation in the level of privatization and integration of Medicare / Medicaid across states.
