The Entrepreneurship Club at Harvard Business School is dedicated to creating a thriving entrepreneurial community that lasts beyond HBS. We provide high quality events and interactions to help aspiring, joining, and founding entrepreneurs “find their people” and demystify what it takes to begin a successful business.

The stats are astounding: Rougly two-thirds of the class of 2019 expressed interest in engaging in entrepreneurship at some point in their careers. And for good reason – entrepreneurial thinking is increasingly prized within small organizations and large. The Entrepreneurship Club enables those with budding interests to already established endeavors to engage meaningfully with a community within and outside HBS.

Beginning in the fall of 2018, the Entrepreneurship Club will kick off their flagship monthly event which features a “How I Built This” talk by a prominent entrepreneur, “Pitch the Pit” time with student pitches, and a networking session which brings together students from HBS and other schools, entrepreneurs, investors, and potential advisors in a two-hour event. Throughout the month, HBS students learn from seasoned professionals in hands-on workshops on topics ranging from “How Should I Think About Equity For Me and My Early Employees?” to “PR 101.” Students are empowered to self-organize throughout the year in dinner groups around industry verticals and self-identified groups (eg. “Female Entrepreneurs interested in SaaS” or “Founders Seeking to Disrupt Telecom”).

Through our mission to create an entrepreneurial community that lasts beyond HBS, we seek to facilitate connections at the right time, whether it’s for a little inspiration after a rough day, or to fill a knowledge gap for a critical part of the business.
