Introducing HBS OnBoard

OnBoard is a program designed to inspire and support alumni serving on nonprofit boards. The program will focus on the leadership skills needed for the evolving role of modern nonprofit boards. Each session will be interactive with opportunities to collaborate with other HBS alumni on problem solving, education and support.

OnBoard is intended for alumni who currently serve on nonprofit boards. For those alumni considering nonprofit board service, the program will also include bi-annual sessions to guide you through the process of joining a nonprofit board.

Business & Society Dinners

SEI is hosting a series of Business & Society dinners in key locations across the U.S. to explore how business currently interacts with society and how HBS alumni leaders can help foster positive social change through their leadership in all sectors of the economy. Each dinner is co-hosted by local alumni and uses the Jeffersonian dinner format to encourage deeper conversations and connections. At a recent dinner in Boston, alumni discussed how to reimagine capitalism working better for everyone. And at a recent dinner in Palo Alto, alumni talked about the effects of technology on social change and how it can be harnessed for more social good in the future.

If you are located in the Boston, New York City, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C. areas and are interested in attending a dinner, please email se@hbs.edu for more information.
