The Creating Emerging Markets (CEM) project has been conducting in-depth interviews with top business leaders in emerging markets since 2008. These are hosted on our public website, featuring full interview transcripts and associated video clips that are free to download.
This conference considered the ways oral history including the interviews undertaken by the Creating Emerging Markets project can be used in research. The speakers were Susie Pak (St. John’s), Valeria Giacomin (Bocconi) and Sudev Sheth (Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania). Each session was followed by 30 minutes of discussion and debate to continue building a community of scholars engaged in research using oral history collections and archives. The event was organized by Geoffrey Jones and Tarun Khanna.
